E Tū Whānau song competition is back!

While entries have closed for the 2017 E Tū Whānau Song Competition you have another week to vote for your favourite waiata!  You can vote daily for the songs you want to win until Monday 5 June (Queen’s Birthday weekend).

Songs entered should inspire positive change and incorporate one or more of the six E Tū Whānau values.  There’s great cash prizes to be won – 1st prize $5000, 2nd prize $2000, 3rd prize $1000, Most Votes $2000.

Entry is easy – just upload footage of the song being performed to YouTube (or a photo slideshow with the song is ok too) and complete the online entry form on the E Tū Whānau Song Competition Facebook page.

Make sure you check out the rules while you’re there (entrants must be NZ residents aged 13 years or older).  It’s a great kaupapa so please like the Facebook page and share this post with lots of people.
